“It’s rare that the place you stay is as memorable as the UNESCO wonder that draws you to visit but that proved to be the case with Zeric’s home. He has tastefully integrated a vast and eclectic mix of antiques and art, whilst retaining the historic soul of the 500 year old house, located in the heart of town. Modern bathrooms and kitchen give it both a homely and upmarket feel and Zeric’s naturally gregarious nature and expansive local knowledge is as big as the monster pastries he sources for breakfast. A breath of fresh air in this era of sterile second homes run through anonymous agencies. Completely blown away, can’t provide a higher recommendation.” – Peter

“Magical and special…” “This place is one of a kind. The home is so magical and special. It’s in a perfect location, walkable to the castle and to all the shops. “Peaceful and centrally located.” “I really enjoyed staying in Zeric’s beautiful historic house. The old town is just a few minutes’ walk away. Despite the central location, it is very quiet (my room was in the courtyard) and I enjoyed the evenings on the terrace very much. It was a perfect start to the day.” – Susanne

“A beautifully restored home from the 1500s. Large, comfortable rooms and a terrific ambiance. Zeric (a distinguished and serious fellow with a penchant for jazz) met us at the train station and was super helpful and informative throughout our stay. Breakfast of coffee and croissant was lovely and his espresso maker made the perfect pour. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay or a better value.” – John
